LED
Technology has taken the world by storm and it is inevitable that soon the LED
Lights will take the crown of industry standard. There is tremendous scientific
research being done on LED. Its components and the peripherals and new
advancements in the technology are making LED Lights more energy efficient and
hence cost-effective.
But there
are some points one should keep in mind while choosing LED as their lighting
solution. The current high cost of the Energy Saving LED Outdoor Bulbs is the main cause of
concern while opting LED Lights as the primary lighting solution. Although due
to technological advancement and scientific research the cost of these bulbs
are gradually going down but still the unit cost is high. For Example: In comparison
with a 25W traditional incandescent bulb, the replacing LED Bulb cost around
$40. This shows that purchasing cost of LED is indeed high but the other fact
which shouldn’t be ignored is that the operating cost of LED Light is
significantly low than that of traditional substitutes and in the longer run
opting the LED Light Bulbs is beneficial. The best value of using the LED Light
is in commercial use such as Indoor LED Tube Lights Manufacturer where the lights are installed
in order to run longer therefore the commercial viability is truly on display
when LED Lights are being used commercially.
It will be fascinating
to watch the scientific developments that are under process for indoor and
residential application of LED Lights. The LEDs are widely being used outdoors
(traffic signs, floodlights) but the real test for LED will be to “stand out”
when it comes to indoor application of LED lights. There is still a lot of work
that is to be done in order to make the LED Lights more cost effective (in
terms of purchasing) and that day seems to be closer than we think considering
the pace at which the technology is being unfold.
The industry
users of LED Lights are confident the LED Lights of near future will be far
more cost efficient and more eco-friendly than those of today’s LEDs and will
eventually replace practically every type of Lamps that is being used today.
